Some foreign qualifications are automatically recognised in Flanders. For these qualifications, you do not have to start a recognition procedure with NARIC-Vlaanderen because the recognition is fixed in a legal text.
What should you do if your qualification is automatically recognised?
You can apply directly to employers with this recognition. If the employer does not know about this automatic recognition, refer to the legal text. You will find the legal texts under the heading "Which diplomas are automatically recognised?" (see below).
Which qualifications are automatically recognised?
Choose the country where you obtained your degree:
- Belgian qualifications
- International qualifications
- Qualifcations from The Netherlands
- Luxembourgish qualifications
- Qualifications from the Baltic states
