You need to have your diploma recognised by NARIC-Vlaanderen, but you do not have a Belgian eID
Your address is in Belgium
- You have a Belgian eID or electronic foreigner's card or a Belgian bank card (not Visa or Mastercard)
- Yes: go to the e-portal and apply for recognition. Log in with your eID or electronic foreigner's card.
- No: apply for an electronic foreigner's card. Afterwards, go to the e-portal and apply for recognition. Log in with your eID or electronic foreigner's card.
Your address is not in Belgium
- If you live abroad, you can only apply if you can prove that you have a concrete prospect of employment in Flanders or Brussels. You must demonstrate this with proof that you can work in Flanders Or Brussels.
- You have a Belgian eID. Check the example of the Belgian eID and electronic foreigner card)
- Yes: go to the e-portal and apply for recognition. Log in with your eID or electronic foreigner's card.
- No: Can you go to a Belgian municipality
- Yes: apply for a digital key at a local registration office of a Belgian municipality or at the registration office of the FPS Policy and Support in Brussels.
- No: collect the documents you need to submit your application. The guidance tool gives you an overview of these documents. Afterwards, submit your application by email.
